Wir kommen ins Gespräch über die Bilderwelten von William Kentridge. Wir freuen uns auf Impulse von Tetiana Havlin und Ihre Assoziationen, die Sie mit dem Werk des Künstlers verbinden.
Wir reden über künstlerische Identitäten, gesellschaftliche Verantwortung und Machtverhältnisse und damit auch über Erinnerungskultur und Postkolonialismus – und über Fragen und Perspektiven, die Sie mitbringen und teilen können.
Tetiana Havlin lehrt aktuell am Institut für Interkulturalität an der BTU Cottbus‑Senftenberg und forscht u.a. zu Migration und verschiedenen Formen von Mobilität, Mehrsprachigkeit und Transnationalismus.
Die Veranstaltung findet in deutscher und englischer Sprache statt.
We’ll discuss the visual worlds of William Kentridge. We look forward to input from Tetiana Havlin and the associations you have with the artist’s work.
We’ll discuss artistic identities, social responsibility, and power relations, and thus also the culture of remembrance and postcolonialism—and the questions and perspectives you can bring and share.
Tetiana Havlin currently teaches at the Institute for Intercultural Studies at the Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU) Cottbus-Senftenberg and conducts research on migration and various forms of mobility, multilingualism, and transnationalism, among other topics.
The event will be held in German and English.
