Unter dem Titel Aufnahmezustand präsentiert das BLMK ausgewählte Sammlungszugänge aus den letzten fünf Jahren. Gezeigt werden Werkgruppen\, die durch Ankauf oder Schenkung für das BLMK gewonnen wurden. Eine große Rolle spielen hierbei Konvolute\, die durch Nachlassschenkungen in die Sammlung kamen. \n  \nDie Schau ist als Doppelausstellung angelegt und erstreckt sich über die zwei Ausstellungsorte Rathaushalle Frankfurt (Oder) und Dieselkraftwerk Cottbus. Obschon sich die Präsentationen wechselseitig ergänzen\, sind sie natürlich auch unabhängig voneinander und daher einzeln zu betrachten. Die streng mathematischen Arbeiten von Horst Bartnig sind ein Gravitationspunkt der Ausstellung im Dieselkraftwerk und bilden gleichzeitig die Verbindung zur Schau in der Rathaushalle. Zu den wichtigsten Vertretern der konkreten Kunst gehörend beruhen Bartnigs Werke auf dem Prinzip von System und Variation in Form und Farbe. \n  \nNeben Visualisierungen mathematischer Entwicklungsreihen zeigt Aufnahmezustand jedoch auch eines der wenigen figurativen Gemälde des Künstlers. Die Präsentation von Bartnigs Bildwerken erfolgt auf einer zeitgenössischen\, modularen Raumskulptur von Albert Weis: die geometrischen Spiegelinstallation wird zur Hängefläche und gleichzeitig zum Resonanzraum für Malerei und Bildobjekte von Horst Bartnig. Die Kontrastierung von abstrakter und konstruktivistischer Formensprache einerseits und figürlich-gegenständlicher Handschriften andererseits durchzieht die gesamte Ausstellung und verbindet Werke verschiedener Ausdrucksformen miteinander: Malerei\, Grafik\, Fotografie und Plakatkunst. \n  \nDie Arbeiten aus der fotografischen Sammlung fangen die Atmosphäre\, Struktur und Dynamik städtischer Räume ein. Die Bilder halten ungeschönt den Zustand der Altstadt von Halle (Saale) in den 1980er Jahren fest\, zeugen vom Wandel Berlins in drei Jahrzehnten – während der Teilung und in den Jahren des Umbruchs nach dem Mauerfall. In der Plakatkunst reicht das Spektrum vom reinen Schriftplakat über konstruktivistische Siebdrucke\, schnurrige Neujahrsgrüße hin zu Narrativem im Papierschnitt und virtuos überzeichneten fotografischen Vorlagen. \n  \n\n…\nThe BLMK’s collection forms the starting point for the museum’s programmatic direction and also for a wide variety of thematic and solo exhibitions. Under the title Acquisition Status (Aufnahmezustand)\, the BLMK presents selected acquisitions from the last five years. On display are groups of works acquired through purchase or donation. A significant portion of these are collections received through bequests. \n  \nThe exhibition is conceived as a dual exhibition\, spanning two venues: the Rathaushalle in Frankfurt (Oder) and the Dieselkraftwerk in Cottbus. Although the presentations complement each other\, they can also be viewed independently. The rigorously mathematical works of Horst Bartnig are a focal point of the exhibition at the Dieselkraftwerk and simultaneously provide a link to the exhibition in the Rathaushalle. As one of the most important representatives of Concrete Art\, Bartnig’s works are based on the principle of system and variation in form and color. \n  \nIn addition to visualizations of mathematical development sequences\, Acquisition Status also features one of the artist’s few known figurative painting. Bartnig’s artworks are presented on a contemporary\, modular spatial sculpture by Albert Weis: the geometric mirror installation serves as both a hanging surface and a resonating chamber for Horst Bartnig’s paintings and sculptural objects. The contrast between abstract and constructivist forms on the one hand and figurative styles on the other pervades the entire exhibition\, connecting works of various expressive forms: painting\, graphic art\, photography\, and poster art. \n  \nThe works from the photographic collection capture the atmosphere\, structure\, and dynamics of urban spaces. The images unflinchingly document the state of Halle (Saale)’s old town in the 1980s and bear witness to Berlin’s transformation over three decades—during the division and in the years of upheaval following the fall of the Wall. In poster art\, the spectrum ranges from purely textual posters and constructivist screen prints to whimsical New Year’s greetings\, narrative paper cutouts\, and virtuoso exaggerated photographic templates.
