Der „Verband der Gemeinschaften der Künstlerinnen und Kunstfördernden e. V.“ ist die älteste und größte interdisziplinäre Künstlerinnenvereinigung Europas. Seit einem Jahrhundert fördert das Netzwerk den Austausch und die Sichtbarkeit von Künstlerinnen. Mit der Gründung der GEDOK Brandenburg als Landesverband im Jahr 1994 entstand ein regionales Netzwerk\, in dem seit über drei Jahrzehnten Künstlerinnen verschiedener Generationen zusammenarbeiten. \n  \nDie Gruppenausstellung im BLMK stellt einige Künstlerinnen der GEDOK Brandenburg mit ihren individuellen künstlerischen Positionen vor und macht zugleich Aspekte des Netzwerkes sichtbar. Sie eröffnet unterschiedliche Perspektiven von Künstlerinnen auf die Region sowie auf ihre jeweiligen Handlungs- und Wirkungsfelder. In seiner umfangreichen Sammlung verfügt das BLMK auch über einen interessanten Bestand an Werken von Künstlerinnen der GEDOK. Ausgewählte Werkgruppen aus der Sammlung werden in die Ausstellung integriert und treten mit den aktuellen Positionen in einen vielschichtigen Dialog. \n  \nGefördert von \n\nEine Kooperation mit \n\n  \n\n…\nGEDOK is celebrating its centenary this year. The „Association of Communities of Women Artists and Patrons of the Arts“ (Verband der Gemeinschaften der Künstlerinnen und Kunstfördernden e. V.) is Europe’s oldest and largest interdisciplinary association for women artists. For a century\, the network has fostered exchange among women artists and promoted their visibility. The founding of GEDOK Brandenburg as a state chapter in 1994 established a regional network in which women artists of different generations have collaborated for over three decades. \n  \nThe group exhibition at the BLMK presents selected women artists from GEDOK Brandenburg and their individual artistic approaches\, while simultaneously highlighting aspects of the network itself. It reveals diverse perspectives held by these artists regarding the region and their respective spheres of activity and influence.
